Sarah has worked in the charity sector for over 20 years and her various jobs – paid and voluntary – have taken her to Russia, Birmingham and since 2010, Oxford. Most recently she was the director of a local Oxfordshire charity running outdoor programmes for people with learning disabilities and autism; past roles have included place-based community organising, conflict programmes with Palestinian and Israeli civil society organisations and community development with refugee and asylum-seeking groups, as well as governance advice and support, research and impact evaluation, and fundraising with a diverse range of charities.
A keen swimmer, Sarah is never happier than when she’s jumping into the Thames with friends, throughout the seasons.
Sarah's role at OCF is to match the rich potential of individual, family and corporate philanthropy to enable even greater impact by dynamic charities and community organisations addressing the pressing social issues in Oxfordshire.
